Faces of Chiang Mai

"I draw faces because they refuse to lie.

My work explores the tension between memory, identity, and presence through intuitive, emotionally-led mark-making. Working primarily with oil pastel on paper, I render portraits not as likenesses, but as emotional landscapes — distorted, spontaneous, and immediate.

Faces interest me not for who they are, but for what they carry — the silent charge between the observer and the observed."
